Samuel Beckett Bridge, named after the Nobel Laureate, is a 120m long cable-stayed bridge spanning the River Liffey in Dublin. It pivots 90 degrees to allow shipping pass through. The shape of the spar and the cables evokes an image of a harp, the national symbol of Ireland.
